TOTE PROJECT

The BLCKATTITUDE TOTE PROJECT is a creative and sustainable initiative born from a deeply personal experience. After our founders return  to Ghana, She visited her favorite beach and was confronted by the overwhelming sight of plastic waste and pollution. This moment of realization sparked a drive to contribute to the reduction of excessive plastic use and to promote sustainability through art and design.

The project revolves around creating reusable tote bags crafted from fabrics sourced from Kantamanto, a bustling market known for its vibrant, recycled textiles. Each tote is a unique work of art, incorporating hand-painting and screen printing techniques to create one-of-a-kind designs that reflect the beauty of nature while raising awareness about environmental issues. These bags are not just functional—they are statements of intention, challenging the over-reliance on single-use plastics and encouraging a more mindful, eco-conscious lifestyle.

By reimagining discarded materials and turning them into reusable, artful accessories, the Tote Project invites others to join in the fight against plastic pollution, all while celebrating the power of creativity to inspire positive change. Through this project, my goal is simple: to make a tangible difference, one tote at a time.
